Explore the possible filters and get the simulations of biogas potential from different scenarios.
What is it
The Advanced Analyses section allows modeling detailed biogas production estimates. By selecting waste types, sub-residues, and scenarios (baseline, conservative, optimistic, or biogas frontier), the platform calculates and displays theoretical potential, losses at each stage, and final real potential. All parameters are customizable: users can adjust harvest, competition, seasonality, and logistics factors, as well as inspect the mathematical formulas applied directly on the page.
What is it for
• Compare classes and sub-residues: evaluate the viability of multiple materials together; • Map process losses: understand the impact of each factor in the transition from theoretical to real potential; • Simulate custom scenarios: adjust the percentages of each variable to reflect your plant's operational reality; • Project sensitivity: contrast multiple market and productivity scenarios for the same feedstock.
How to use
1. Select Waste: In the left menu, choose the class and sub-residues to include in the simulation; 2. Define the Scenario: In the center of the screen, select the reference scenario most aligned with your objective; 3. Choose Visualization: Choose one of the 4 available graphical display modes to analyze the results; 4. Adjust Parameters: In the panel next to the chart, customize factor percentages based on your data sources.
